It might sound strange for an actor to say, but I was a painfully shy kid in high school. For a reason I still can't fully explain, I signed up for an introductory drama class my freshman year. Maybe it was the subconscious desire to be like my idols, Adam Sandler, Ben Stiller, and Dave Chappelle. Whatever the reason, that class is where I discovered my absolute love for making people laugh.
That discovery led me to pursue a degree in theatre from Florida School of The Arts to build my professional foundation. I dove deep into Stanislavski and Meisner techniques, learning how to find the truth in every character I inhabit.
As a professional actor, director, and teaching artist here in Jacksonville, my work is incredibly varied. I've had the privilege of coaching students at places like Bishop Kenny High School and the Jewish Community Alliance, helping them find their own confidence. To keep my own skills sharp, I perform sketch comedy and use improvisation to help train physicians as a Standardized Patient at the Mayo Clinic.
Whether I'm on set, on stage, or in a classroom, my goal is always the same: to find the truth.
